Full‑Time, Base + Commission

The Villages on Maple located in Lisle, Illinois is managed by B & A Property Group, based here in the Greater Chicago Land area; we are looking for an individual who is interested in advancing their career in property management. This individual must have excellent organizational and people skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to join our leasing team.

Summary

Leasing Consultants are tasked with effectively marketing the property and maintaining high occupancy of qualified residents. They are the first impression of the property and must present a high level of professionalism.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven customer service and/or sales experience (leasing preferred but not required);
  • Very organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and self‑motivated;
  • Knowledge of basic math, and general office technology skills preferred;
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced working environment;
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision;
  • Ability to work weekends.
Responsibilities Include
  • Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers;
  • Conduct building tours for prospective residents and input traffic into software daily;
  • Lease apartments in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by management;
  • Accurately enter new lease information into computer system;
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage new and existing lease files;
  • Assist in move‑in / move‑out process;
  • Receive and enter resident service requests;
  • Assist with resident programs and retention strategies;
  • Assist maintenance team with ordering supplies;
  • Assist property manager with purchase orders;
  • Assist property manager and co‑workers in the management and operations of the property;
  • Maintain confidentiality in all job responsibilities as it pertains to staff and tenants;
  • Follow policies and procedures while complying with Fair Housing, state and federal laws.
