Job Description
International lubricants manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in the Midwest region is seeking to hire two scientists in the Chicago metropolitan area for R&D in a broad line of water‑based and oil‑based industrial, metalworking, metal forming, and specialty lubricants.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the regional and global technical community to discover new technologies, new formula bases, raw materials and processing techniques that lead to unique products. Responsibilities include project management and development of new products and bench tests.
Positions are open due to retirement and require a BS, MS or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science along with light to medium experience in R&D with background in areas such as cutting fluids, metal stamping compounds, quench oils, coolants, surfactants, emulsion chemistry, and dispersion technologies.
