Position SummaryThis role is part of Sam’s Club Member Frontline Services, supporting members at the checkout area and throughout the club. The associate ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment while assisting members with purchasing, returns, payments and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do- Provide member service, answer questions, and guide members with self‑service technology.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, including organization, safety sweeps, and merchandise arrangement.
- Document and communicate incidents of theft, unsafe conditions, or other concerns to facility management.
- Assist members in locating merchandise, making purchasing decisions, and transporting items.
- Support emergency response procedures and enforce security and safety practices.
- Train and mentor new Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and new program roll‑outs.
- Identify and communicate shrink and damage opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to policies, data usage, and company standards of ethics and integrity.
- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
