This position reports to: Global Marketing & Sales Manager
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The Regional Sales Manager will direct and manage multiple sales channels supporting the Power Switching business to ensure growth targets are attained for all products, services & solutions in the specified region. In this role, you will manage independent representative agents (iReps), and external partner / channel accounts for optimal performance and growth.

Lead region to develop and execute strategy to close profitable orders for following products:
Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) & Paralleling Switchgears (PSG); execute annual detailed account strategies with iReps, channel partners and for key end users in pursuit of top line growth across the regionCollaborate with multiple ABB sales teams and channel partners to drive sales directly with end-users and through gen dealers, electrical contractors, distribution, and OEM accounts; support complex contract negotiation; develop strategic end user customer relationships with key decision makers
Ensure all orders are in strict compliance with ABB Risk Review Process; own accuracy of orders, commitments and convertible orders forecast and serve as a focal point for sales forecasts; be voice of the customer and promote a customer centric mindset
Provide clear communication to iReps, and channel partners on ABB objectives, priorities, product development roadmaps and other business considerations; ensure assigned region meets and/or exceeds the annual order's goal; partner closely with Product Leaders & Customer Support organization to ensure alignment of our ITO and OTR processes to meet customers' CTQs

Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in engineering discipline and/or advanced business degree. Others considered based on applicable industry experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales with successful track record and tangible results working with third party channel partners, relevant consultants and contractors, distributors and end users in the data center, critical power, power quality or related industries
Thorough understanding of customer base and channel in assigned region; attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, ability to learn, good interpersonal skills and results oriented
Strong communicator: must be able to communicate effectively at all business levels, including customer management
Strong knowledge of the electrical power industry;
Critical Power / Power SwitchingExtremely strong written and verbal communications skills; excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office essentials & ; ability to travel regularly
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
