Position
Mid‑Market Territory Account Manager – Remote Illinois. Responsible for new and current business across Forcepoint solutions within a specific region, driving sales of software licensing, appliances, and services.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement customer account and opportunity plans in support of sales goals and quota objectives.
- Engage sales resources (SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, Executives) to execute account plans.
- Drive new account development through B2B sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services.
- Manage forecasted opportunities and close deals, targeting 150‑300 prospect accounts.
- Execute complex sales and manage the sales process across multiple go‑to‑market strategies.
- Collaborate with internal sales specialists and engineers and external partners at all levels.
- Negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management, including C‑level contacts.
- Meet or exceed sales quota.
- Use CRM system effectively to develop, manage, and close forecasted opportunities.
- Analyze and forecast sales performance.
- Apply sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
- University degree preferred and 2‑5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
- Proven cyber‑security experience (Cloud Security, Network Security).
- Experience managing and growing accounts (typically < 2000 employees).
- Consistent achievement against quota.
- Experience presenting to C‑level or executive‑level contacts.
- Experience working directly with channel partners.
- Strong partnership skills with sales specialists and engineers.
- Excellent time‑management and structured, organized approach.
- Experience in vertical markets.
- Good presentation and written & verbal communication skills.
- Effective use of CRM tools.
