Pay Rate: $102,800 - $125,600

- Extensive cold calling to seek out and develop new account base.
- Analyzing existing supplier recycling programs to maximize recovery and yield.
- Develop and build relationships with new and existing suppliers. Gather market intelligence and develop a commercial strategy to manage the Midwest marketplace.
- Develop and present both verbal and written recycling proposals to potential suppliers.
- Conduct profitability analysis on existing and potential new suppliers.
- Negotiate purchase prices and keep abreast of market and supply trends.
- Work closely with our internal mill system to source low cost, high quality OCC.
- Work closely with our Export sales and domestic sales system to source supply for Key Customers.
- Develop a clear understanding of customers’ business and critical requirements through frequent visits to customers’ facilities.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Practice effective time and territory management.
- Interface effectively with other departments and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders.
- Minimum four years successful direct outside sales experience.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to listen, understand and analyze the needs of customers.
- Ability to recognize changes in market conditions and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time if required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Four-year college degree in business with an emphasis in marketing.
