Responsibilities

  • Support account onboarding through education.
  • Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
  • Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
  • Coordinate clinical education programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
  • Manage Dermatology accounts in practices/clinics/hospital outlets and independent physician offices.
  • Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment.
  • Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
  • Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
  • Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating key decision makers.
  • Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and healthcare/professional groups.
  • Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
  • Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s (BA/BS).
  • 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
  • Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
  • Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
  • Understanding of managed care landscape.
  • Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork.
  • Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
  • 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
  • Experience calling on Dermatologists.
  • Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
