Sterling Engineering is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive technical sales and application support for industrial material-handling solutions. This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions across heavy industrial environments.
Job Duties- Generate new business opportunities and develop project proposals.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through relationship development and solution selling.
- Provide technical application support and recommend appropriate product solutions.
- Conduct sales calls with existing clients and new prospects.
- Maintain and manage a consistent sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer service and project execution.
- Develop relationships across multiple functional levels within client organizations.
- Prepare and submit regular sales activity and forecast reports.
- Travel extensively to customer sites and industrial facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of technical sales experience within bulk material handling or heavy industrial markets.
- Strong understanding of industrial operations such as coal, steel, cement, aggregate, or similar industries.
- Proven ability to manage accounts, develop new business, and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software.
- Ability to travel frequently and work in industrial environments.
