Account Manager, Business Development, Client Relationship Manager
I am currently partnered with a fast growing reputable Personal Care Contract Manufacturer, in search for a Key Account Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced account management professional to join a collaborative, customer focused organization where you'll serve as the primary point of contact for key customers while driving long term growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
The Key Account Manager will work closely with Sales, Production, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met while identifying opportunities to grow existing business and strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar commercial role within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience within the Beauty, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Contract Manufacturing (CDMO/CMO) industry is highly preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
- Experience supporting the full sales cycle, including quotations, pricing, negotiations, and commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and supply chain coordination.
- CRM experience (Net Suite or similar ERP/CRM systems).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required.
- Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial activities.
- Support all stages of the sales cycle from quotation through production, delivery, and ongoing account management.
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer retention.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing customer accounts through consultative selling and relationship development.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and customer agreements aligned with company objectives.
- Coordinate production schedules, logistics, and order fulfillment with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor account performance, sales activity, forecasts, customer satisfaction, and market trends while providing regular reporting.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively while maintaining strong long-term relationships.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, forecasts, and sales activity within the company's CRM system.
- Support new customer projects, product launches, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for business growth.
