Field Service Technician

Sebenza LLC,is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our client team in Elgin, IL. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

• Travel to client sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective repair and maintenance strategies
• Conduct training sessions for clients on proper usage and maintenance of equipment
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and recommendations on equipment status
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in the Packaging Equipment field desired but not necessary
• Hands on experience with Electro-Mechanical experience, pneumatics, AC/DC motor control, PLCs, VFDs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
