What Does a Vehicle Service Technician Do?As a Vehicle Service Technician Apprentice, You’ll Dive Into The World Of Vehicle Mechanics And Electronics. You’ll Learn How To Keep Vehicles Safe, Efficient, And Road‑ready By Working On
- Engine, exhaust, and brake systems
- Air conditioning and vehicle electronics
- Security systems and more
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Repairing and replacing parts
- Helping customers understand what work their car needs
- Estimating repair times
- Recording all work done on vehicles
You’ll work side‑by‑side with expert technicians, learning real‑world skills that set you up for a long‑term career. You’ll be:
- Hands‑on from day one
- Gaining technical knowledge and practical experience
- Working on iconic automotive brands
Complete a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) qualification in 36 months.
