Maintenance Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Elgin, IL, 60124. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems.

Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure minimal downtime.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Plc Troubleshooting.

Hydraulics and Pneumatics.

Preventive Maintenance.

Ability to read Schematics and blueprints.

Fabrication and Welding experience.
