Wildlife & Pest Control Technicians

Critter Craze Control LLC is a licensed, Black woman-owned wildlife and pest control company serving Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. We are hiring Wildlife & Pest Control Technicians and investing in the right people from day one.

We don't spray and leave. We find how the animal got in, remove it, repair the structural damage, and seal the entry point — so the problem doesn't come back. Our work combines licensed wildlife management with real hands-on exclusion and repair work.

• $18.00–$22.00/hr to start | up to $28.50/hr at 90 days based on written performance benchmarks
• $175 paid trial day — you get paid before you commit to us
• Part-time to start (20–25 hrs/week), growing to full-time at 90 days
• 5 days/week with 6th-day overtime available
• Recession-proof industry. Pests don't care about the economy.

SHIFT is CCC's proprietary paid training program that transitions skilled tradespeople into licensed pest control professionals. You combine daily field training with structured coursework. You must obtain your Illinois IDPH and IDNR licenses within 90 days. CCC advances all exam fees and reimburses them in full upon passing.

You arrive with construction skills. You leave with a specialized, licensed career.

• Perform wildlife trapping, removal, and relocation
• Seal entry points and complete exclusion repairs — rooflines, soffits, vents, crawlspaces, and foundations
• Document all work thoroughly with photos and written reports
• All client communication is handled by ownership and management — your job is the field
• Maintain professional conduct and CCC standards on every property

• Background in construction, carpentry, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or general trades — required
• Calm and confident around wildlife (raccoons, squirrels, bats, mice, birds, and more)
• Comfortable working on rooftops, in crawlspaces, and in outdoor conditions year-round
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and responsive
• Bonus:
  Prior pest control or wildlife experience, or existing Illinois IDPH/IDNR certification
