Technician I – Sprinkler Repair
FT, Hourly Non-Exempt, Some overtime available
The Technician I – Sprinkler Repair plays a key role in assisting the repair and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential properties. Working under the guidance of experienced sprinkler technicians, this position provides hands‑on exposure to fire protection systems and ensures our customers remain compliant and protected.

Job Responsibilities- Assist senior technicians in the repair, replacement, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems.
- Support troubleshooting of leaks, valve issues, and other system deficiencies.
- Prepare tools, materials, and job sites for scheduled repairs and service calls.
- Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
- Document repair activities accurately and communicate job status to supervisors and customers.
- Follow all company safety procedures, jobsite requirements, and local fire codes.
- Attend training sessions to develop technical knowledge and industry certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or confined spaces.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Willingness to learn NFPA standards and pursue certifications with company support.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 150 pounds, with or without assistance.
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $20.00‑$21.00 per hour based on experience. Full benefits are offered, including medical, dental, and vision insurance effective on day one of employment.
