Shift: 2C (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM)
Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe, predictive, and productive maintenance environment to support the site’s business goals.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Perform machinist and mechanic tasks including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform plumbing and carpentry functions as needed.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Identify faulty operations or defective material and report to supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
- General warehouse practices.
- Hands‑on mechanical work.
- Interpret verbal, written instructions, pencil sketches, and diagrams.
- OSHA and other legal requirements.
- Various maintenance trade equipment.
- Conveyors, motors, and DC drives.
Minimum 2-5 years of maintenance mechanic or related experience.
Education RequirementsAssociate’s degree in mechanical or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Judgment and Reasoning AbilityAble to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy; determine when to elevate issues promptly.
Physical DemandsRegularly talk and hear; stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands and fingers; bend, stoop, reach; lift up to 45 lbs. Proper lifting techniques required. Reasonable accommodations available.
Work EnvironmentNoisy and fast‑paced with multi‑level distractions. Requires company uniform, closed‑toed shoes, and safety equipment. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
