Field Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 inspections of above ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Assisting in the successful completion of all field projects as directed.
• Responsible for accurate communications with all crew members.
• Must be able to carry out directions of the crew Foreman.
• Maintaining punctuality and performing all duties professionally.
• Performing NDE tasks as required.
• Performing all work and travel safely.

• Have 2-4 years of industry experience.
• Have experience with a field service company.
• Have the ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers.
• Must be willing to travel when needed (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Have valid driver's license, have or ability to obtain passport, TWIC card (homeland security).
• Have the ability to pass background and drug testing.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
• Must have knowledge or certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.

Demonstrates expertise in API 510/570/653 inspections and NDE methods including MT, VT, MFL, and PT, while ensuring safety and effective communication in field service operations. Capable of maintaining strong working relationships and managing travel requirements effectively.
