NIA has open Bilingual SLP (1 Spanish and 1 American Sign Language) positions in District 300 (Carpentersville, Algonquin, Dundee, Hampshire, Lake in the Hills, IL)

NIA also has open SLP jobs in Rockford School District 205 (Rockford, IL) and District 300 (Carpentersville, Algonquin, Dundee, Hampshire, Lake in the Hills, IL)

180 Days, 7.5 Hours/Day Salary Range: $57,469 - $101,985 depending on experience + $3K annual bilingual stipend for caseloads/workloads higher than 50% bilingual.

Position Summary

As an SLP with NIA, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. You will perform your duties in alignment with the Speech‑Language Pathology Practice Act and NIA’s policies and procedures. This is a professional‑level, exempt position where you will work independently and collaboratively with school teams.

The role involves varied situations that require initiative, analysis, interpretation of information from multiple sources, and a commitment to service, discretion, and sound judgment in decision‑making.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
  • Speech‑Language Pathology license (Required)
  • Professional Educator’s License (PEL), Illinois School Support Personnel with Speech‑Language Pathology Endorsement (Required)
    • We are open to helping you with this if you are certified by the Department of Education in another state.
  • Proficiency with school‑based technology and office equipment, including computers and specialized software applications like Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
