Location: Oakbrook, IL 60523 | In the office Monday – Friday
Responsibilities- Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enhancements and new features/functionally for a large-scale, complex ERP application with a focus on building and enhancing APIs
- Participating in architecture and design discussions, contributing with practical and efficient technical solutions
- Improving the performance, stability, and scalability of IBM i (AS/400, i5/OS, System i, iSeries) applications
- Developing and supporting REST APIs that enable integration with internal/external systems
- Collaborating with business analysts, software engineers, and technical leaders to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business needs
- Supporting troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution as needed
- Creating documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development best practices
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience with IBM i, RPG, SQL DB2
- Experience designing and developing REST/RESTful APIs
- Experience with Java is preferred
- Experience with JSON, XML, ERP and/or supply chain/distribution systems is preferred
