Freight Specialist
As the Freight Specialist (internally known as Eats Freight for Breakfast) at Parts Town, you will ensure all outgoing Distribution Center parts are accurately audited, packaged, and shipped on time. You will work closely with Customer Service, Order Expeditors, and other internal teams to resolve any item or order discrepancies.
Responsibilities- Audit outgoing parts for quantity errors, miss‑picked items, or damaged parts to ensure customer orders are correct and shipped promptly.
- Process large customer orders and maintain Parts Town’s quality standards for shipments.
- Pack and wrap outgoing shipments carefully, identify damaged packages or parts, and ensure safe delivery.
- Use platforms such as High Jump, Syspro, UPS World Ship, and Salesforce to manage orders and shipping documentation.
- Provide timely shipping rate quotes and order updates to Customer Service teams.
- Schedule freight carrier pickups and prepare accurate shipping documents.
- Operate a forklift to maneuver skids, load trucks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- In good standing with no disciplinary action and a track record of top performance in your current role.
- Passionate about time management and organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Vehicle certified or willing to be trained.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, and Saturdays as needed.

Salary range: $43,993.80 – $53,720.20 annually ($21.15 – $25.82 hourly). Compensation includes base pay, profit sharing, and an annual bonus depending on role.
