Transportation Supervisor

Salary range: $62,500 - $70,000 (national). For roles within California range is $70,304 - $82,000 and Washington $80,169 - $82,000.

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 am–3:00 pm
• Rotating weekend phone coverage

• Supervise and lead a fleet of approximately 20 drivers, office taskers, and partner carriers.
• Manage and maintain Power, Non‑Power, and Ancillary equipment.
• Oversee routing, driver scheduling, equipment maintenance, shipment tracking, and customer service.
• Perform administrative tasks, including payroll, billing, and processing BOLs/PODs.
• Maintain and update compliance records to ensure driver and equipment compliance.
• Coach associates to achieve internal and external objectives.
• Provide guidance, counsel, and disciplinary action when necessary.
• Assist drivers and troubleshoot issues during and after hours.
• Create and maintain a team‑focused, positive environment for drivers, customers, and office staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer locations.
• Ensure high service levels at minimum expense through accurate record keeping.
• Implement inspection and maintenance programs to safeguard equipment.
• Recommend new equipment specifications and operational improvement programs to management.
• Process bills of lading and ensure proper billing of charges.
• Establish trip reporting procedures and file Department of Transportation reports.
• Implement a driver safety program.
• Apply performance evaluation systems for promotions, wage increases, and terminations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).
• Experience in transportation and fleet management (preferred).
