Overview
Clean Harbors in Elgin, IL is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include Vacuum Trailer, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high-powered vacuum loaders. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

Responsibilities- Operate light and heavy-duty trucks and related equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high-powered vacuum loaders.
- Perform driving duties and non-driving tasks on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and supervisors to coordinate activities and ensure safe operations.
- Class B CDL required (and any additional state or company-specific certifications as applicable).
- Experience operating vacuum loaders or related heavy equipment preferred.
- Strong safety mindset with ability to follow Hazardous Waste handling procedures.
- Ability to work at various customer sites and adapt to changing environments.
