Shift: 5:00am-1:30 pm (or until the work is complete) Monday-Friday. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as necessary due to the needs of our customers.
What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal HealthWarehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Picking medical supplies
- Packing medical supplies as needed
- Replenishing products as necessary
- Setting up facility for day shift team
- Releasing and scheduling pickups with LTL carriers.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Good written communication skills
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
- Previous warehouse experience desired
- PIT equipment experience preferred
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods - Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
- Ability to work with out supervision
- Upholds policy and procedure and addresses behavior that is not in line with Cardinal Health's standard
- Escalate concerns to supervisor when appropriate
Anticipated hourly range: $20.50/hr.
- $23.58/hr.
