A Day in the Life of a Residential New Construction HVAC SuperintendentAs the liaison among mechanics, builders, and office support staff, you lead the technical performance of the team. You ensure quality, safety and timely completion of every project phase. You coordinate materials, evaluate work quality, handle installation challenges, communicate setbacks to the project manager, and ensure profitability and deadlines are met.
Qualifications for a Residential New Construction HVAC Superintendent- 8+ years of residential install experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience communicating with builders
- Experience managing tradesmen and subcontractors
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Leadership ability
Full‑time core hours are Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime is possible during peak periods.
