Responsibilities
As a Residential New Construction HVAC Field Superintendent, you will serve as the liaison between mechanics, builders, and office staff; oversee technical performance of the crew; ensure quality and safety standards; manage material deliveries; evaluate workmanship at each construction phase; address complex installation challenges; communicate project status to the project manager; and achieve profitability and schedule targets.
Day in the Life
Daily tasks include leading the crew, mentoring tradesmen, resolving issues on site, managing resources, and keeping the project on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of residential installation experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience communicating with builders
- Experience managing tradesmen and subcontractors
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and quality‑focus skills
Schedule
Full-time core hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Overtime may be required during peak periods.
