The Office of Financial Aid welcomes applications from COA students interested in a Federal Work Study position.  Federal Work Study positions are made available for students eligible to receive Federal Work Study funding to financially support their education goals according to the Federal Work Study program as outlined on COA's Federal Work Study webpage.

America Reads Challenge Tutor at J.C. Sawyer Elementary School

Responsibilities and Duties Provide one-on-one reading to and tutoring of kindergarten - fifth grade children

Qualifications

* Preferred:
Pre-Education Major (Early Childhood/Elementary)

* Ability to develop rapport with children

* Commitment responsibility - children will anticipate seeing you during scheduled sessions

* Must provide own transportation to the elementary school

Supervision Received:

Reading program teachers at the elementary school

Supervision Provided:

One child in a controlled setting.
