Provisioning Specialist, Journeyman

Overview

Job Summary:

Perform provisioning functions to establish supply support for Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) systems and equipment. Develop, maintain, and review Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD).

• Create and maintain APL documentation
• Coordinate with shipbuilder and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on parts identification and procurement data
• Conduct analysis for spare parts determinations
• Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) provisioning activities
• Develop parts packages for USCG review and approval
• Interface with USCG supply systems and applications
• Develop and maintain records for assigned Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and Electronics (ELEX) equipment

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field OR six years directly relevant equivalent experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in provisioning and APL development

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of National Stock Number (NSN) assignment and cataloguing
• Familiarity with Allowance Equipage Lists (AELs) and APLs
• Strong understanding of USCG Provisioning processes, the NESSS, and Defense Logistics Agency Systems (DLA)
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Government client and project team functional areas in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, as required by contract

• Equipment Specialist certification desired

The projected salary range for this position is $60, and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
