Operations Research Analyst

ASRC Federal is seeking an Operations Research Analyst for anticipated openings in 2025.

We support the US Coast Guard Bureau Air Logistics Center (BOD ALC) in maintaining aircraft, ensuring a safe mission for our nation.

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to pass a federal government background investigation.
• BA/BS in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Mathematics AND at least four (4) years of operations research or related experience. Non‑related degrees require six (6) years; an AA/AS degree requires eight (8) years.
• Proficiency in formulating and applying mathematical modeling or other optimization methods to develop and interpret information that assists decision‑making, policy formulation, and related functions.
• Experience in a maintenance depot is preferred; aircraft/helicopter experience is an added advantage.
• Experience determining mission support costs, including maintenance, repair, sparing, warehousing, labor hours, transportation and other drivers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as SAS, R, or Python (or similar) is a plus.

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling to develop and interpret information for decision‑making purposes.
• Develop business‑case analyses with stated forecasting variables to provide different courses of action for mission support and sustainment decisions.
• Utilize software tools to improve current models and forecasts.
• Establish project timelines, monitor work completion, and communicate effectively.
