Advanced Practice Provider- Orthopedic & Sports Medicine

Sentara Medical Group has an opening for a Physician Assistant to work in concert with our orthopedic team in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. We are interested in a Physician Assistant (PA) who is driven by quality healthcare, the delivery of compassionate patient care, and the ability to create a great patient experience.

Highlights of this position include:

Join a well-functioning Orthopedic team consisting of 1 total joint surgeon, 2 sports medicine surgeons. 2 other APPs in the practice. 2 family practice sports medicine physicians and a team of athletic trainers. Opportunity to provide sports medicine support to our local high school athletic departments.

Well-appointed office space on new hospital campus

See new general orthopedic patients, follow-ups, and post-op patients, inpatient hospital and ER consults, participate as surgical assistant, provide office fracture care.

Strong built-in referral base through Sentara Primary Care

Digital x-ray and PACS at the practice; MRI on hospital campus

Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Rehab Services available

Weekly schedule M-F 8a-5p, (No night or weekend call)
