Training and Development Specialist

Job Summary:

Provide training, technical support, quality assurance data reviews, and engineering support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC). Develop and deliver training for ALMIS and 1-Log Portal users, review operational and maintenance data, support maintenance policy reviews, and provide field unit support to sustain current and future users of ALMIS, 1-Log Portal, and future software enterprise system replacements.

Education and Experience:

* Experience:

* Minimum five (5) years' experience in USCG aeronautical/ naval engineering practices and procedures as defined in COMDTINST Manual 13020.1 (series) or Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6 (series).

* Minimum five (5) years' experience in aircraft, cutter/boat.

* Minimum five (5) years ALMIS/EAL/DSS experience.

* Minimum two (2) years instructing or providing classroom training.

Essential Duties:

* Provide ALMIS Functionality Training

* Conduct Maintenance Policy and User Publication Reviews

* Provide Field Unit and Customer Support

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently

* Proficient in the use of basic computer tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Live Meeting

* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $65,000 - 90,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
