We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Maintenance Crew. The role involves maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking to start a career in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
Hours of operation:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm with overtime. Some Saturdays are required during the busy season or due to inclement weather.
- Lawn Care:
Mowing, dethatching, edging, and trimming lawns using hand or power equipment, along with aerating, over seeding, and applying pesticides or herbicides. - Plant Maintenance:
Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, and performing regular watering, fertilizing, thinning, pruning, and weeding. - Irrigation:
Assisting with the installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems. - Equipment Operation:
Safely operating landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, etc. - Snow Removal (Seasonal):
Removing snow and ice from pathways and driveways as necessary. - Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all company and site safety regulations and policies to maintain a safe work environment. - Other Duties:
Assisting with other lawn‑care related tasks as directed by the supervisor or management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and collaborate with others.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks in all weather.
- Attention to detail and capability to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge and maintenance of lawn‑care tools and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of plant care, pest control, fertilization, and seasonal maintenance.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
