Princeton NJ
Salary: $100- $105K plus bonus
Hybrid: 3 days in the office, WFH 2 days

Highly visible Senior Accountant opening. Opportunity to work directly with the trading floor to gain an understanding of company strategies. Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting or general accounting with financial services industry experience.

• Collaborate with regional accounting teams to review the impact of derivative activity.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations and analysis of derivative results.
• Record month-end derivative accounting journal entries.
• Partner with other business teams to ensure business process improvements are implemented.
• Assist with analyzing and reporting derivative transactions, including disclosures in SEC filings.
• Perform derivative accounting research as needed
• Proactively address the accounting implications related to new derivative transactions.
• Ensure that the business aligns with the requirements of ASC 815.
• Support derivative accounting system updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or general accounting.
• CPA or MBA a plus but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
