Entry-Level Bookkeeper

Alloy Silver stein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking entry-level Bookkeepers to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of small businesses across multiple industries, using accounting tools like Quick Books and Xero. You’ll work directly with experienced professionals who are invested in your success and professional development.

This open position is currently for an in-office, in-person role at our Cherry Hill, NJ office location.

Record day-to-day financial transactions for clients

Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Support the preparation of financial reports

Help maintain organized and accurate financial records

Learn and use accounting software such as Quick Books and/or Xero

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required or expected within 3 months)

Some Quick Books experience is strongly preferred — but we’re happy to train the right candidate

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfort with Microsoft Excel and basic computer proficiency

A team player who is eager to learn and grow

Prior office, accounting, or internship experience is a plus, but not required
