Accounting Assistant

Hotels at Home is a growing eCommerce company, and the Accounting Assistant position provides the perfect opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance-accounting team. This role will be instrumental in reviewing, processing, and reconciling the company’s financial transactions, as well as Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable transactions.

• Accounts Payable transaction processing
• Assist with Accounts Receivable transactions
• Monthly journal entry processing and GL account reconciliation
• Assist with customer returns processing
• Reconcile vendor trial balance
• 1099 year-end processing/reporting
• Other duties as assigned, including supporting internal teams as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Highly proficient with MS Excel (Pivot tables and V-Lookups knowledge required)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both collaboratively as well as independently
• Experience with accounting software a plus, notably Microsoft Dynamics and/or Net Suite
