- Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes
- Create financial reports from trial balance
- Prepare and provide account analysis of general ledger accounts
- Assist in preparing schedules for public company filings (10-Q and 10-K)
- Assist with the coordination of the annual audit
- Prepare monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
- Ensure SOX compliance is met
- Perform ad-hoc research and financial analysis for management
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- CPA or working towards it preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
