Accountant III
The Accountant III is responsible for processing and reconciling monthly surcharge collections, as well as coordinating related payments to airports and taxing authorities. This role involves analyzing, reconciling, and adjusting various balance sheet accounts, and preparing monthly journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
What You’ll Do- Compute and report monthly surcharge collections and accompanying payments to airports and taxing authorities.
- Analyze and reconcile various account reconciliations relating to surcharge collections.
- Analyze various inventory, prepaid and other account analyses.
- Prepare monthly journal entries.
- Review accounting statements (P&L and balance sheets).
- Assist on various ad hoc projects and department responsibilities.
- Act as liaison with the properties department and landlords to ensure proper payments are processed in a timely manner.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of Oracle GL, Oracle AP, Oracle Fixed Assets system a plus.
- Knowledge of Visual Lease or similar lease accounting & management software.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent time management, planning, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel is a must).
- Detail oriented.
- Eager to use AI and new automation tools to drive innovation and efficiency.
The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 – $85,000 annually.
