Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead enterprise-level initiatives and drive process improvement across multiple insurance programs. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of key operational priorities. The ideal candidate brings a background in Property & Casualty insurance, excels in project governance, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, high-visibility initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Develop and execute strategic project plans based on organizational priorities.
- Create a collaborative environment across internal teams and vendor partners.
- Hold vendors accountable for timelines, deliverables, and agreed-upon benefits.
- Cultivate strong business relationships to anticipate and respond to shifting priorities.
- Ensure project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are consistently met.
- Monitor performance metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Assign tasks based on team members’ experience, skills, and workload capacity.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and dependencies; implement proactive mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams and maintain high levels of communication and engagement.
- Recommend solutions for resolving challenges, escalating issues when needed.
- Document and refine processes to support continual improvement.
- Support effective communication between business stakeholders and external vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4–8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the P&C insurance industry.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Skilled in business process design and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations.
- Customer-focused, self-driven, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to build consensus across various departments and external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments.
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $50-60 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
