Osmo, the New Jersey scent-technology company teaching computers to read and generate smell, is hiring a Contract Sensory Panelist at its Elizabeth, NJ headquarters. The role puts a trained nose at the center of the company's fragrance work: smelling materials and compositions, describing them precisely, and feeding the structured evaluations that both its perfumery projects and its digital olfaction research depend on.

Panelists evaluate fragrance samples in structured sessions, rate and describe odor characteristics using consistent vocabulary, and flag differences between batches and trials. The work supports Osmo's fine fragrance development and its quality operations in Elizabeth. Reliability, consistency, and the ability to describe smell in words matter more than industry credentials; training on the company's descriptive method is provided.

Candidates with a sharp, reliable sense of smell and strong attention to detail; prior sensory panel, flavor, fragrance retail, or quality control experience helps but is not required. The position is contract-based and on-site in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
