Architect, CAD​/ AutoCAD​/ Mechanical Design

A well-established architecture & planning firm in Camden County, NJ is hiring an Architect to support a steady pipeline of projects across multiple markets. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys both design and project execution, with strong experience producing coordinated documentation and supporting teams through delivery. Project exposure may include corporate commercial, education, or light industrial.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and carry projects through space planning, design development, and construction documentation
• Produce coordinated drawing sets and assist with detailing and documentation standards
• Support project workflows by coordinating with internal team members to keep schedules, deliverables, and submissions on track
• Use industry-standard tools (ex: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and visualization software) for production and coordination
• Help integrate efficient digital workflows into day-to-day design/documentation
• Ensure work aligns with building codes, accessibility standards (ADA), and standard construction practices
• Participate in internal reviews and quality control to maintain clear, accurate deliverables

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in architecture (or closely related)
• Proven ability in concept development, space planning, and construction documentation
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit; BIM experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of codes/ADA and practical construction documentation methods
• Experience on projects in the commercial sector
