Pathology, Surgical Attending – Montefiore Health System

Location: Bronx, New York

Department: Academic Surgical Pathology; part of the Montefiore Medical Center’s Department of Pathology, one of the largest comprehensive medical center laboratories on the East Coast.

• Provide clinical services in surgical pathology, including sign‑outs of specimens.
• Interact with clinicians and multidisciplinary patient care teams.
• Participate in residency training program and medical student education.
• Engage in collaborative and translational research activities.

• Assistant or Associate Professor level, with subspecialty fellowship training in GI/Liver Pathology (hybrid model of subspecialty sign‑out allowed).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in AP/CP or A/P.
• NY State Medical License (or able to obtain).
• Strong diagnostic, teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Competitive salary: $250,000–$375,000 depending on experience.
