Pathology, Surgical Attending – Montefiore Health System
Location: Bronx, New York
Department: Academic Surgical Pathology; part of the Montefiore Medical Center’s Department of Pathology, one of the largest comprehensive medical center laboratories on the East Coast.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical services in surgical pathology, including sign‑outs of specimens.
- Interact with clinicians and multidisciplinary patient care teams.
- Participate in residency training program and medical student education.
- Engage in collaborative and translational research activities.
- Assistant or Associate Professor level, with subspecialty fellowship training in GI/Liver Pathology (hybrid model of subspecialty sign‑out allowed).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in AP/CP or A/P.
- NY State Medical License (or able to obtain).
- Strong diagnostic, teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary: $250,000–$375,000 depending on experience.
