Position Summary
* BCSSSD is seeking a qualified and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our Transition Campus team, supporting students ages 18-21. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate (Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities) and demonstrate strong instructional skills. A deep commitment to working with culturally diverse learners and a solid background in behavior management are essential.
Qualifications
* NJDOE Instructional Certificate:
Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (required)
* Demonstrated ability to support students ages 18-21
* Strong behavior management skills
* Ability to relate to and support culturally diverse student populations
Salary & Benefits
* Annual Salary Range: $64,064 - $82,487
Note:
Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
