PositionUniversity Program Specialist I – Coordinator of Student Athlete Success
This coordinator serves as the secondary liaison to the Director of Student Success and Wellness for student accessibility services, providing wide‑ranging academic and wellness support to intercollegiate student‑athletes, aligned with university mission, NCAA, and CIAA.
Responsibilities- Serve as secondary liaison to the Director of Student Success and Wellness and Office of Student Success for student accessibility services.
- Provide comprehensive academic and wellness support services for student‑athletes.
- Coordinate operations, program management, client/customer service, and information/records administration related to student‑athlete success.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to improve services.
- Managing Work Processes – Provide leadership and set strategic direction.
- Decision‑Making – Initiate and implement new approaches and policies.
- Coordination/Operations – Direct, evaluate, and improve organizational processes.
- Program Management – Resolve unprecedented issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Client/Customer Service – Troubleshoot issues and make policy exceptions.
- Information/Records Administration – Apply data to implement improvements and produce reports.
- Managing Work Performance – Evaluate accomplishments and assess sensitive work.
Minimum Training and Experience – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with 2–3 years related experience.
