DESCRIPTION
Architecture & Design Technology Teacher
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate New Jersey Certification required:
Teacher of Technology or Industrial Arts - Proficient in the use of instructional technology, familiar with Autocad or other Industry Applications
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
10-Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position for the 26/27SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) – Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION: Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.

SKILLS:
Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
