Full-Time Teacher Assistant
Location:
Burlington County Institute of Technology Westampton Campus
Position Summary:
BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will support classroom instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics, assisting teachers in delivering effective lessons and supporting student learning. Experience working with young adults is preferred.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma and one of the following:
* Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning
* Associate's degree (or higher)
* Meeting rigorous standards through formal assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction or readiness (Para Professional Praxis Exam)
* Knowledge of appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Experience working with young adults preferred
Salary & Benefits:
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $29,766 $ 36,851
