Middle School Vice Principal

Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools is currently seeking a Vice Principal at Grover Cleveland Middle School effective for the 2026-27 school year.

• Prior administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies and successful experience observing, mentoring and coaching teachers to improve instruction;
• The ability to provide effective instructional leadership, maintaining school-wide focus on student achievement and supporting all teachers and staff;
• The ability to relate well to students, staff, parents and community in a collaborative, environment rooted in shared decision making;
• A relentless work ethic and commitment to student achievement;
• Thorough knowledge of the NJSLS, curriculum design, implementation of inspirational strategies and integration of technology;
• A positive behavioral approach to discipline which encourages students to develop core values that guide their interactions with peers, staff and all members of the school community;
• Experience coordinating group test administration and conducting staff training on required standardized assessments;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $115,000 as per Administrator's contract
