Part-time NJTSS Coordinator
Part-time 10-Month Position with Benefits
Qualifications:
- Valid NJDOE instructional certification.
- In-depth knowledge of the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports (NJTSS), evidence-based tiered interventions, and progress-monitoring practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate instructional practices.
- Ability to coordinate, implement, and monitor tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support systems.
- Strong assessment, data-analysis, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze student-performance data and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention plans.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, interventionists, support staff, and families.
- Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
- Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

Terms of Employment:
Terms of tenure track positions per collective bargaining agreement. Starting salaries:
Step 1BA - $ 73,699 and Step 1MA - $81,804
The employee is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees' Retirement System. The position is eligible for additional compensation in the form of stipends or tuition reimbursement based on district policy.
The NJTSS Coordinator position (#:2884) is a part-time role, with compensation prorated based on hours worked in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
