Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for hands-on project work and automation? We’re looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design, installation, and troubleshooting of advanced electrical systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

This role offers a unique blend of engineering design, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration—with clear growth opportunities into senior engineering or leadership roles.

What You Bring

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of:
• Electrical control systems (VFDs, motors, drives, sensors)
• Voltage systems (460
  
  VAC, 120
  
  VAC, 24
  
  VDC, 5
  
  VDC)
• PLCs and ladder logic (Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens)
• CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works)
• Fluke meters and diagnostic tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with contractors and technicians.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergencies (rare, but required).

Preferred Experience

• Project-based work in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with high-temperature and high-pressure systems.
• Experience with automation upgrades and control system integration.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze engineering proposals and process requirements to design or modify industrial machinery and equipment.
• Lead electrical system projects from concept through installation—including design, costing, quoting, and contractor coordination.
• Troubleshoot and test newly installed machines to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide technical support for automation, robotics, and control systems.
• Manage procurement of equipment and maintenance supplies.
• Support daily operations: attend changeover meetings, review work orders, and manage preventive maintenance priorities.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
• Report on engineering and maintenance activities to leadership.
