Professional Civil Engineer (PE) – Land Development & Municipal Engineering
Location: New Jersey
Elucidate Staffing is partnering with several respected consulting engineering firms throughout New Jersey that are seeking experienced Professional Civil Engineers (PEs) specializing in land development and municipal engineering.
Responsibilities- Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
- Design and oversee land development projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway improvements.
- Lead municipal engineering assignments such as roadway reconstruction, stormwater improvements, and capital improvement projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Attend client meetings, planning board hearings, and project coordination meetings.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 7+ years of consulting engineering experience.
- Strong experience in land development, municipal engineering, or both.
- Knowledge of NJDEP regulations and local approval processes.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
