Investment Analyst

We are looking for a highly experienced Investment Analyst with 12+ years of relevant experience who is passionate about finding high-quality compounders—businesses with durable moats, aligned management, and the ability to compound value over the long term. Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or research workflows is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze high-quality compo under stocks, with a focus on long-term value creation.
• Conduct deep fundamental research, combining qualitative assessment of business models and management teams with rigorous quantitative valuation analysis.
• Help develop an AI-driven investment screening framework using external data and LLMs to surface a focused list of high-quality compounders from a broad equity universe.
• Build and maintain robust Excel-based financial models to assess investment opportunities. Leverage Python to automate data pipelines, perform quantitative analysis, and support the development of AI-driven framework.
• Clearly articulate investment cases, including thesis, key drivers, upside/downside, and risks.
• Monitor existing positions, updating views as new information emerges and risks/opportunities evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 12+ years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Python for data analysis, model automation, or research tooling is highly desirable.
• Strong grasp of financial statements, SEC filings, and key performance metrics.
• Deep experience building and critiquing valuation models, including DCFs, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and market/transaction multiples, with a focus on long-term free cash flow and downside protection.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently.
