Water Distribution Operation Supervisor - Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority.This full-time (40 hrs./week) position oversees daily operations of the authority’s water transmission and distribution system. Responsibilities include supervising field staff, coordinating daily assignments, and overseeing maintenance, repair, and installation of system assets including mains, valves, hydrants, and meters. The role also supports leak detection and utility markout programs, administers services contracts, maintains inventory and records, and ensures compliance with Authority policies and procedures.
Participation in emergency response activities and availability to work outside normal business hours may be required. Candidates must possess a U.S.
-accredited high school diploma or equivalent and at least seven (7) years of experience in public water system operations or related field, with supervisory experience preferred. A New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection W-2 Public Water Distribution License or the ability to obtain within an approved timeframe is required.
