The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

As a Clinician in our Child Outpatient program, you are responsible for the direct provision of services to youth and family therapy services, including group and individual/family counseling.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master's Degree
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred:

• LCSW, LSW, or LPC

Essential Functions:

• Obtains appropriate release of information
• Designs and implements treatment plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents patient outcomes according to department policy and procedure
• Interprets nature of illness and prescribed course of treatment to patients and families
• Communicates family issues to other staff members
• Participates in planning conferences
• Maintains up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards
• As a member of the multidisciplinary team, assists in reviewing and updating treatment and discharge plans
• Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved
• Assesses patients' needs through clinical interviews, chart/history review and through the use of standardized instruments
